St. Andrews
The picturesque town of St. Andrews on the east coast of Scotland is not only a paradise for golfers, but also a treasure trove for fans of the Middle Ages. Numerous historical buildings and castle ruins can be found in the royal city. The historic golf course “Old Course”, located between the wild Atlantic ocean and monumental buildings, suggests a place steeped in rich history. It is quite possible that Prince William and Duchess Kate, who attended the traditional University of St. Andrews here, playfully dueled with golf clubs here on the green fields.
